I’m going to make it my goal today to treat all others as I wish to be treated. I’m doing this in honor of the unveiling of The Charter for Compassion. The Charter is a result of a desire to find an underlying value that brings the five major world religions together. The Charter was made possible by TEDprize.

Watch Karen Armstrong on state at TED. You might be familiar with Karen. She won the TED Prize for 2009 for her idea on a Charter for Compassion.
